So if I’m following this, which I may not be, NE Surf is leaving the DPL, a league that usually has GA clubs second level teams, in favor of ECNL-R2, a league which usually has the third level team of most ENCL clubs (fourth and fifth level of stars), along with the top team of some clubs not in ECNL?

The players will be leaving dpl teams this spring for ECRL. There’s many ECRL teams to choose from. The GA is so far now from where they started. ECNL is absolutely the only strong national pathway for serious college platers. The A players. The next tier of players will be ECRL & GA. And some of the ECRL teams and players will be stronger than NE GA players.

Surprising for sure! Surf coaches are usually pretty good at making a lot out of nothing. Maybe they have accepted who they are.

I can assure you that absolutely no one is jealous of that decision. Just ask the old Juve crew how it's going for them, losing players all over the place.
