Most likely, clubs generally want to announce switching leagues before tryouts. This is so they can maximize the number of potential new players trying out.

There might be a couple more if leagues need to even out a regional league to make each clubs travel roughly the same.

July is when the big leagues start up. This means clubs need to have all the paperwork, marketing. Kits, fields, coaches, etc all ironed out by mid summer.

Yeah the NWSL angle is compelling. That being said I don't blame people for being negative when many of the recent additions have been lackluster and don't have any where near the same amount of upside.

Blues FC is a decent add. They're in a suburb of Sacramento with lots of kids. They were formally NPL which means they weren't able play higher level talent. Now they are

We all can see that you're just c+ping negative comments from other threads to troll.

Again, Blues FC is in Placer County which is a Sacramento Suburb that has A LOT of kids ie potential talent. There's also a large Latin community who grew up playing soccer.
