Yet you did it again.

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. Never mentioned if my kid won the teams participation award or was all universe, never mentioned if my kid is done with soccer or playing on the national team. Just saying these awards are nice conversation pieces down the road, they don’t necessarilyrepresent the best players in the country. That’s a point I agreed with from an earlier post, All American doesn’t necessarily identify the best national players regardless of geography. Your bitter self should look in the mirror.

So not only do you feel the need to point out that your kid won an award, you feel the need to point out that an award another kid won may not be as special as it seems. And you think I’m the bitter one.

Here’s how it should go:

No mention of your own kid, that’s just obnoxious and needy.

To all the other kids who won any award at all: Congratulations on the award. It should feel good to be acknowledged for all the effort that you put into your sport. Great job.
