Congrats to all the local talent that received All American awards. Not sure how they can possibly narrow this down (Maine getting 2?). Twice the congrats for multiple year winners!

I rather be top 10 in NEPSAC. Speaking of whitch, anybody got the "top ten boys in NEPSAC" list? I don't know if they were concentrating on just Seniors or all were considered.

NESJ at least on the girls focuses on ISL and Class A. Writer actually said he doesn’t know much about Class B going into playoffs. While he is celebrating a lot of great seniors, it’s subjective.

Im sure Maine has a few good players but…all Americans, and two of them? Unless these Maine AA are traveling south to play club I can’t imagine they are better than others in high density populations. But this is a beauty contest not talent recognition. I’d still rather be an All American than top 10 in NEPSAC. Both probably are going to provide you a good landing spot though

You must be bummed your kid didn't get it. That's usually what drives callous comments like yours. CT is twice the size and has 4 so what's you point? This isn't apportioned based on population but talent. Some years it will ebb and flow state by state

Ha. If it was truly an All American team they wouldn’t slot nominations by state. Im not saying these kids aren’t quality players, Im saying if you picked 50+ kids, without geographic limitations, you’d see a different team. We can agree to disagree, happy for the kids and families but it’s undeniable a popularity or known quantity contest. Not bitter at all, my kids done fine. Maybe even won an award or two. Big deal
