It is possible that parents already do what you are instructing them to do and that you arent bestowing any great wisdom here. People like you are the worst. Jerk.

Definition: Cumbaya soccer ('koom-bye-yah'): 1) What your kid plays, not mine, 2) so called "developmental model", 3) the provision of trophies and ice cream to unworthy children, 4) any player over age 8 who doesn't travel to at least 3 tournaments in FL, TX, MD, or CA.

Wow Surprised

New to the board - came across on a search for information regarding soccer in MA. My daughter is almost 13 and will be playing on a u14 team in MAPLE this Spring. We were so happy for her but after reading some threads it seems so cut throat. I guess we should save our money and stick with our travel league? My daughter, like most 12 yr old girls, wants to play soccer in college. What is the best route to go to work toward that goal? Is MAPLE the road to future exposure assuming her team excels? Appreciate your help...Thank you.
