    Yes slide tackles are part of the game but theyre dangerous + if not done correctly should bring a yellow or maybe a red. Theres no way U13 players have enough skill to consistantly pull off legal slide tackles. Refs that allow it + don't hand out cards are the problem.

    There you go. This is a specific example.
    Not a fan of sliding personally, shows desperation and that you weren't in the right position to begin with.

    But, in the above, you are giving a specific example of aggressiveness and not intent to injure, correct? Which could result in: winning the ball, missing and being out of position, a foul, a yellow, or a red. The last two are rare; none of them require and assault charge......
