There's them, but also some pretty big clubs who neglect their lower teams.

Every player going to every team of any kind has a ball in their bag.

The list would take too long, because it's almost all clubs except the money grab ones that want you to believe 'it's the norm' for thr coach to not have enough balls to do their job.

None of my guys bring a ball to training? Most proper clubs have a brand deal and have to use their balls.

You don’t actually let your players use those crummy balls, do you? Good way to mess up their game.

My experience is that top team coaches bring the balls to practice. Lower level teams, younger teams, and rec teams bring their own balls to practice.

My D1 player seemed to never go anywhere without a ball and we have about 20 at home, but sure.

Obviously no one is saying kids shouldn't have their own soccer balls, that would be ridiculous. But kids shouldn't be made to take them to team practice either, coaches and clubs should provide properly inflated quality balls for all practices and games.

That’s great and makes sense. But I’m sure the club had balls at training. I wouldn’t coach for a club that didn’t give me plenty of good equipment.

My daughter plays on a top ECNL team at Stars. The kids bring their own balls. The coach also has balls for drills and games but not enough for every kid to do individual training.

When my son played GPS, then Seacoast, he was also required to bring his own ball. The coaches also had balls. Same reasons.

MLS clubs may be different but top level girls bring their balls with them.

Wow, so girls are getting treated worse than the boys. Figures.

That is extremely poor from Stars.

One example. Same at Scorpions, NEFC, Select, Surf, IFA (girls atleast), Seacoast, Bolts(girls atleast). Probably most others too but I don’t know families from the other clubs. We see all of the out of state teams we compete with showing up with their personal balls too.

You still haven’t named a club that does not ask the kids to bring their own balls. Remember, kids bringing balls does not exclude the coach from also having balls.

Again, no one is saying kids shouldn't carry their own balls. But it should never be a requirement from the club. A lot of the clubs you named above do not have it as a requirement, and they shouldn't be used during practice and games. I know at least 2 of the above are a lie because my kid played there.

They don’t use the kids balls for games.
