Coaches absolutely look at how you handle winning, losing, playing ahead and playing from behind. When they talk to current coaches, past coaches, opposing coaches, these are the questions they ask

It's actually true. If you want to see how a kid plays when it's tough and they are up against it, wouldn't you rather watch them handle Blue vs. some other minor league club? At some point, common sense needs to be considered.
I'm happy that things worked out for you but logically digging from the bottom of the barrel vs pulling from the top of another barrel doesn't make sense.
Your club must have very good placement + college connections for players if they're fielding .300 teams + players are getting D1 offers.
