NEFC only managed to tie Seacoast and then lost to some mid boys team. Not sure anyone should be reading too much into a preseason tournament.

The fact that NEFC wasn’t available to play top girls isn’t surprising. The fact that NEFC didn’t get results against low level boys teams isn’t surprising. The fact that Blue couldn’t score against Select isn’t surprising. The fact that Select couldn’t score at all isn’t surprising. The fact that White beats up on ECRL teams but can’t beat an ECNL team isn’t surprising. What is surprising? Scorpions!

I think it's obvious to any parent who follows Mass. girls club soccer that NEFC teams did not make the top divisions of the Stars Labor Day tournament so NEFC took their ball home and decided they didn't want to be in the 2nd divisions so they ran away. Remember when NEFC was always in the 1st divisions-only like 3 years ago- now none of their teams qualify for the top divisions so they don't show up. #JAC

You know what's next NEFC.....you will be booted from the CL in GA. Oh that's unfortunately coming soon...real soon... stars, scorpions, select all get ready to fight over NEFC's top players.

This is a poor take. NEFC would have been in top division without a doubt. They would have taken the ECRL2 team’s place or taken Stars White’s place: 3rd place in their bracket. Least amount of points from any MA teams in the bracket. Good thing that Stars gave them that cupcake opening game against the ECRL2 team.
