Well not the original poster of NEFC is watered down crap from last year, but that thread was filled with such great facts it's time to start an NEFC is crap part 2. Here is hoping that NEFC's pathetic last year showings were an anomaly and not a regular occurrence going forward. Massachusetts needs as many good clubs as possible so say what you want up until 2 years ago NEFC was right up there as a top club. After last year's debacle, however, I'm not even sure that NEFC is even a competitive Champions League club anymore as all teams combined are now ranked #10 out of 16 teams in CL GA. In fact, South Shore Select has more highly ranked teams than NEFC does going into the 2023/2024 soccer year. They are now considered by most as the top GA club in the state. The theme of last year for most top NEFC girls/teams was to run, not walk,to other top Mass. teams during the year. Sad how once a proud club has become JAC in just a few short years. Let the stories, facts and bashing begin...part 2!

I wouldn't say watered down crap, i just think they are shifting on the wrong direction. I feel like they are more focused on identifying talent from other clubs than actually developing the players they already have, at least on the Boys side. I honestly feel the environment between parents its just not as good as it used to be the past years, feels more like an afternoon activity than a club where everyone one supports each other and their boys director of coaching is too disrespectful, i think it works for some kids but most leave because of his coaching style.

Oh boy this couldn’t be more obvious that Select is on here trashing NEFC to lift themselves up after letting down all of the parents from their impact rising teams. NEFC might have had a tough year last year in some age groups and maybe bad luck w the younger parents, but the reputation is far superior to Select as well as the coaching, logistics etc. move on.

You would think young girls that have been with them since they were 7 or 8 years old would be moving up to top teams in 2012 and 2011 age group, instead of having to find talent from other clubs to fill out that team. Having tryouts year-round and offering free or reduced fees to girls from other clubs tells you all you need to know about their development of players that are already there....

NEFC GA predictions....excluding u-little teams:
2010 NEFC- 5th place and around .500. 0 for in the CL.-probably finish around 14th out of 16 teams in CL.
2009 NEFC- 5th place as well-only because this 2009 division is a joke and is SO bad!! A little better than .500 only because of the bad northeast division they are in. 0 for in the CL and again maybe 13th out of 16 teams in the CL
2008 NEFC- NEFC's best team again in a terribly weak northeast division. Easily undefeated in the northeast division but knocked out early in CL. Prediction 8th in CL
2007 NEFC- well below .500 never going to be a threat. last in CL 16/16
NOT very good and a drop even from last year's debacle for NEFC. We have a 14th, 13th, 8th, and 16th in the CL for NEFC. Let the slide continue. At this point I'm sure alot of people would like to see Aztecs replace NEFC in the GA. At least Aztecs would be more competitive than than the debacle called NEFC.

2010 is 2nd in northeast and 4 nationally for GA. But your "genius" puts them 5 in northeast?
Get off the Crack.

NEFC=JAC in Massachusetts. Wouldn't waste 1 minute commenting of their meh GA teams. To me, NEFC is just a glorified Mass City these days. NEFC is closer to Mass City than Stars 100% a fact! So why does anyone care about a middling club is beyond me?!

As long as NEFC is not being compared to Blue anymore thats fine by me. I hated when an inferior club like NEFC was being compared to Blue.... thankfully no more comparisons by delusional NEFC parents. Looking forward to NEFC falling even more this upcoming year.
