But FIFA published their votes both going to Messi. Coincidence?

FIFA Committee is a bunch of scumbags. Blatter and Platini need to be gone. Even the captain from Portugal (Bruno Alves) is saying that he voted for Ronaldo and it went to Messi.

What about this? I don't want to take anything away from Messi, but a lot of players and coaches tend to vote for the player that helped his team out the best during the year.

    No bias there, right???

      Back and fourth

This strand shows that there is a very tight race for world's best player. I believe everyone is just lucky to have these two great players around to be seen. And any person who criticizes either player has their head in the sand; they are great. Ronaldo, however should have won it because of the trophies, not that Messi is bad, he is fantastic, naturally. It is about the trophies, if you win them then that is where it's at. Neither player deserves any condemnation, they are way above the rest. Who will win the Champions league this year, EPL? Etc.
Blatter and Platini made this very complicated and compromised their integrity because of the statements they made. As head of organizations, they have sold out with thair statements. They are mediocre leaders, especially Blatter as was evidenced with the Boateng fiasco recently. Kudos to Boateng.

What are you trying to say? FIFA published the votes and some players that voted are coming to the press and telling the world that their vote went wrong. I don't think they are lying because they wouldn't jeopardize their career by throwing FIFA on fire like that.

The captain of Portugal voted for a Portugese player. There is no surprise there. As the ESPN article said, soccer is a very partisan sport.
