        Congrats!
To whoever that doesn't believe that topdrawer is biased and promotes at their own criteria, here is an example:
        from their website:

"Is the number one pick going to be Penn State’s Christine Nairn? It’s hard to imagine a player with a stronger finish to her college career, despite falling short at the national title game. Wherever she ends up, the No. 1 TopDrawerSoccer.com upperclassman brings an offensive spark and has experience to have a huge impact.

Not too far behind amongst talented offensive-minded midfielders is Boston College star Kristen Mewis. The former U17 and U20 U.S. youth international scored 16 goals and added 12 assists in 2012, terrorizing defenses up and down the field from an attacking midfield role."

Guess what? Nairn was 7th pick. Was KM ever behind Nairn? Swallow that TD!

All depends on how long the USSF and Canadian and Mexican federations back it. With those orgs subsidizing the league, it has a much better chance of survival.

The last league would have lasted a bit longer for sure if it wasn't for the Majic Jack looney toon.

Any doubt that topdrawer is biased? Look how they tried to beef up Nairn over KM:

It is a tough sell. It competes for spectators with baseball ( and the MLS) during the summer. the only reason the WNBA surives is that the NBA is its biggest supporter

Should they do a home turf allocation like the MLS? Wouldnt' it help attendance locally if KM was allocated to Boston?

It wouldn't hurt, but it isn't necessary - she doesn't have the name recognition yet. Go pick a random U14 girls soccer player from Mass and ask her who Kristie Mewis is...Sydney Leroux, on the other hand. You don't expect Scott Caldwell to be instantly responsible for selling thousands more Revs tickets, do you? In any event, the Breakers did great at Dilboy last year in the WPSL Elite league. Kristie Mewis would have been a good addition to the team for many reasons, but an immediate attendance bump wouldn't be one of them.
