Here's a hint: whenever a poster is referencing the supposed 10+ intolerable parents at NEFC...that poster is bitter NEFC parent. Always the same narcissistic message - its always someone else to blame, or at fault, or being mean. Its always "everyone else" who has the problem. It's always another kid that sucks. Etc.

I suggest you don't feed him. If you must, he likes bologna.

Not all the posts are from same person. I am not OP and am not with NEFC but have first hand experience with some of the loud obnoxious parents. I believe you when you say there is a bitter parent, but that doesn’t change the fact that some of you are intolerable blowhards.

isn't that obvious why any parent keeps their child at a club they don't like? Their kid plays. Obviously, if they went to stars, the parent knows they aren't making blue and most likely not white, so why go?!?!?! Safe to assume Select is to far, but again, now that Monmouth is in the Northeast, SSS will struggle to make Champions League Play and almost never make playoffs, so why go?!?!?!?! There's Scorpion's, but again, probably know kid would be a role player, so why go?!?!?!?!? There's NEFC, kid probably getting solid minutes, potential to be seen at CL and playoffs (in a second tier league). Sounds like that's what is best for the kid. Either that or SoL...

Never heard of a parent being bitter over their kid getting solid minutes. Your description makes no sense.

If kid wants to move the Scorpions parents that were at NEFC will likely be an issue as they did not get along. If the kid goes to Stars they won’t make blue and nobody wants white and both ECRL rosters are filled. So it would have to be select, and not the first time and NEFC player went to select or vica versa.

Maybe the kid was a starter and then lost that gig to a new player. So getting maybe half a game now as a sub across multiple positions. Still a good role for the kid, but hard on the parent's ego. So they stay at the club and vent their frustrations on TS. Its very common, but bitter nefc parent is noteworthy for the sheer volume and persistence.

Who cares if parents didn't get along, why would they need to get along? Simple - ignore each other, there's like 15 other sets of parents on the team. Remember, it's about the kids, not the parents. Second, didn't White beat the NEFC team like 5 times last year? Why would White not be an option when they are clearly ahead of NEFC at this point?

OP stated, "solid minutes". That seems like more than half the game, which was my confusion on why the parent would be so bitter.

Asking the question about White shows that you are either: 1) totally ignorant, 2) you are SM.

Actual question about white: how will they handle playing time for the new kids that came in this year?
Last year, SM never took his starters out. Bench players drove all the way to NY and sat the entire game (at U13!). Now he has brought in new players. Does he sit his starters and alienate the only small group of families in the state that actually seem to like him, or does he keep his subs on the bench and alienate the only small group of families in the sate that were willing to give him a chance?

That’s not the question. He didn’t sub at all. Kids got zero minutes. No playing time at all.

Because SM is a HORRIBLE coach … best thing to happen at stars was the firing of JB. and SM should have been the next to be fired for the stars program.

Actually he is a great coach. Just because your kid got benched or cut or yelled at or whatever your issue with him is…. You insert him into every thread, it’s time for you to get over it. Coaches don’t get fired for benching a kid.

They seem to get fired when they anger the BBN mommies.
