You people think this thread is bad - have you had the pleasure of reading some of the PSU NL kool-aid drinkers flipping out and defending the line between the school and Sandusky? Now that is some funny ****e. You've gotta have your head buried in cement to be responding to this situation - where the hammer fairly and swiftly fell on the BC player for seriously bad judgment - by not being satisfied enough to the point of trying to put forth an argument on behalf of PSU for their role in the Sandusky case. That's just f'd up.

Obvioulsy you haven't read the tweets.

There were tweets that referenced the school with no reference to Sandusky or the school's coverup.

I guess I'm missing something. She was stupid and insensitive to Sandusky's victims, she's being punished (as is the team due to her absence) and what is it that the people here want? - utter humiliation so she commits suicide/ kicked completely off the team for stupid tweets/ personal apologies to each of you? For God's sake it's on tv and the internet - she'll be living with this for a long long time.

I'm so glad I didn't have to pay for my mistakes for several news cycles.

I say serve her punishment and it's over - that's the point of punishment no?

There but for the grace of God go I (or at least there go my kids). I'm glad all your kids are perfect - each one of mine reminds me about every 6 months that they are not fully mature and are lacking judgment. Just like her.

I agree with all you wrote. This thread is out of control because of the crazy apologists who continue to incite further argument about the merits of the suspension. But I agree. Serve the suspension and move on, hopefully a little brighter.

really..how trite...no sh!t Socrates!?...why pile on? why? A smart,athletic local whose lack of discretion in this case is clearly evident...but, America loves a car wreck right? "This shall to pass"...but it is probably part of that mentality that up to this point has made her successful...do count her out..u will lose

WOW adults displaying a bullying attitude. I wonder why kids are like this. Thread should be disolved because it's obvious folks think this over reaction is necessary. Kid made a mistake, She should get punished if she was told not to do such a thing, then she will be wiser.

Not much else to discuss. PENN STATE has a uphill PR campaign and this just hurts it more to think even bad plubicity is going to help. Any reminder is a bad reminder.
