Kids at that age go up and down. It's the nature of being 12 or 13. This is why folks who have kids go through this process caution not to get crazy about results of ulittles. Lots of things change at this age group. Probably should hold off the judgement for a few years.

They had their whole team, they're just not as good as people try to make out.

Not that good, LOL! Name 1/2011 team from New England/NY/NJ that has beaten them in the past 2 years (other than SUSA)? And now they keep rolling along after losing their best player to NC. The only team that has beaten them was SUSA (twice at Stars Cup) 22 and 23, but, then SSS beat SUSA both times in the finals when the win actually mattered. I'd say that makes them pretty darn good.

We know, they are the best in the land! Are they playing in any National events? Surely they have qualified for them.

No, they're paying $250 each to play in Epping NH instead.

Good players, bad parents, ugly club.

Question is will Select be able to hold this all mighty team together through High School? Will most leave for Blue if they are the best in the state?

If history repeats itself…. Then yes they will all stay at Select. Not sure if more than 2 top players total (both 07) have moved on from Select to Stars over the past 5 years. Unless you can provide me facts, let’s not confuse the u13 population with false reports.

Not easy for players from Hingham land to make the trek to Blue in Lancaster. I’ve always said that Stats Blue could have all the best athletes in MA and RI if they had a more central location like out of Milford but being way the heck up at the top of MA leaves a lot of slayers from Southern New England heading to Scorpions and Select.
Need practice drives to be no more than 45 minutes.

Haha slayers! Same same. But yea look at a map of MA. Stars blue practicing out of the Lancaster area is a burden.

How is it possible that both Scorpions and White have not netted a single goal by mid-October?

Unless your kid plays for Scorpions or White why are you concerned?

They will get much better as the talent eventually chases the badge but the 2011 white team might need to try their hand at openly recruiting players. I’m not sure at what age blue starts recruiting players but white should start doing the same thing.

Have also heard that Scorpions has not consolidated their top talent onto the national team yet. If true, what are they waiting for?

Because nobody cares about the 11s yet, sorry.
