Most parents are not looking for development. They are looking for validation that their kid is actually special and “one of the best” and social media posts brags with wins and “player of the week”. SSS can provide that and if you’re daughter isnt on GA yet just keep attending pool practices and maybe even private sessions and someday you will get the validation. Interesting to know how many mult-year SSS players have moved up to GA vs them replacing players that leave with talent from other clubs. But I guess they have multiple NAL and RAL teams the ones chasing GA can brag about now too. What a business plan.

Did the SSS academy send a backup team to this week’s tournament? Their results do not make sense.

No, they're just really not that good.

I’m not a sss parent but I have seen them play. They are very good. They are the best team in New England. Not beating an necsl team is a very surprising result.

I am sure some didn't attend the tournament. Why would you want to pay $250 to play in a Seacoast tournament that has no actual god teams attending. There are a few others that might have had better competition that they could have shown there skills.

The 2011 SSS team is very good. Technical, ball skills, ability are all there and they like to win and win big. But some will move on to Stars and other teams and they will still be good just not the best in the land. The ones who sit on the bench will move on this winter/spring.

Since when can the GA girls decide not to attend a tournament?!? Sorry - that is not possible. LL does not allow that.

Looks like SSS had all their top players 2012 2011 2010 pay $250 each (significantly more than entry fee to tournament) to go to NH and
scrimmage each other. Lol. Guess they are used to that with the pooled practices.

Looks like the SSS RAL Impact team lost 5-1 to a IFA NECSL team.

The SSS RAL Impact team is truly dreadful. They belong in bottom tier at best. Parents being sold on a name but being battered weekly because of it.

I wasn’t there but the results this weekend for the 2011 GA team do not make sense. They must have been missing multiple starters. That team is too good to not breeze through that tournament.

I agree but they are also deep so if one or two are missing they should still be able to compete in a tournament like this. Losing their best player and leading scorer after last season to North Carolina will hurt against tough competition going forward.
