NEFC is bleeding 2010s and 11s. The 11s were expected to head to blue at some point. This has been part of the 11s plan for a while now. The 10s started leaving last year. NEFC loves to go after Select but they are spiraling down. Agree mostly but scouts (asst coaches mostly , and if head coach is there then asst coaches liked them (D1))aren’t going to 2010 games. Except maybe if a 2010 is in the national training or ODP national. Also (in a few years) if your child is good enough they will be seen in ECNL or GA. They go to see individuals. You want to be one of them then email the coach (again in 2/3 years.

Here is the college exposure ranking:
1. ECNL playoff teams (usually Blue)
2. GA playoffs teams (varies by age group)
3. ECNL non playoff teams (White, Scorpions).
4. GA non playoff teams (always Seacoast)

The reason is that scouts have limited budgets and get more bang for buck going to major events. I.e. ECNL playoffs and then GA playoffs.

Now it is true that ECNL teams will attract local college attention quite well, generally better than GA which is still good.

For this age group, right now, Blue and Nefc are going to playoffs. That could change this spring based on results.

Real simple . Champions league is based on points . How each team (age group) does in standings gets points toward overall . If you are in first but your club’s other teams are not doing well you can still get in next year. At the 10 level ,no one is watching except the 10 parents. SSS 10 simply (right now ) don’t deserve to be in champions league . They are in third. They are part of the reason the overall club isn’t in champions league. 2 of the other age groups qualified. The 10’s can talk about how fantastic They are but 3rd. Also you talk about coming to blue ? You aren’t good enough. You will have to settle for white.

it is based results and standings from last season, when the 2010 age group wasn't a part of the GA. their record thus far this season has no bearing on the overall club and where they are, so you are wrong on that. the 2009's won the CL title last March and the 2006's lost in the national finals and as such both were wild cards into the tourney for this year.

if sss wants to qualify for next year as a club, they'll need to finish in top 2 across quite a few of the age groups. based on talent at 07, 08 and 10 level, they have their work cut out for them.
