You folks need some originality in your comments. These are getting stale

Yeah i am not sure this is accurate Stars Blue daddy. The point is that these leagues have teams typically with big, strong, fast athletes that require the player to play quicker and stronger just to be able to get a 50/50 ball. I know that's tough for a lot of small minds to get but that's real real.

I disagree, personally, as the coaching she got before the switch to an ECNL team was much better, and they (IMO) get the credit for her development. ECNL team got her noticed. Would she have had the same development if she switched sooner? She think so, I have my doubts. I will concede her games against Blue was the most intense she had experienced to that point so it helped her to understand what was coming next.

Coaching is no better at ECNL level in younger years. But the practices are more frequent and more intense. If the impact and NPL teams had practices more often like the ECNL teams or GA teams you’d retain more NPL players. Basically our experience was kids got better player development from coaches on the second and third teams, but more practices and more intensity at ECNL level.

That being said, when my kid was a U-13 her club "met" 4x a week. 2-3 trainings, one fitness, and if it was a heavy weekend one of these would be film sessions.

What local tourneys are the top 2010 teams going to in March? My 2010 daughter is interested in trying out and wants to see some of the top teams play?
