You are right, there is nothing equal between Select and NEFC. Select is in my opinion now a better soccer club for developing girls. Look at their GA and IMPACT 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 teams and compare them with the NEFC GA and Metro West DPL teams. Go and watch a few games or attend some practices and you will realize which club is developing better their players. Look at Select futsal program (SOLE) and the results they just got at the recent Northeast Futsal 2023 Regionals. Both clubs have very talented players but Select is just working harder on developing them.
Stop living in the past. I remember taking my daughter to one of the NEFC clinics several years ago. It was an amazing clinic coached by one of the GA coaches. Much better than anything offered at my daughter's club at that point. That is no longer the case. Now at NEFC they have different people running the youth programs and it is not the same. I hope they get back on track before it is too late.
And yes, I am sure the bathrooms at the new NEFC Training Center at Northborough are better and cleaner... if that is all that matters to you, NEFC is the place to be...
Copies from another subject line but found it to be an
interesting take …….

2010 SSS is on the outside looking in to make the GA playoffs. They need NEFC or CSA to stumble. On top of that, no Champion's League. If you want to be in a good League's basement, might as well join White or Scorpions. Lots of rumors that Select top players are doing just that.

maybe it motivates them to do better to get into champions league next year, from what i understand they are partly to blame if they don't get in as they are currently in 3rd place.

Not only to offer local good games but to give more players an opportunity to compete and get looks at the highest level. Surf RI, NEFC, Select, are all clubs that are geographically spread out and would be good spots for ECNL teams. You’d have a strong northeast program and less league travel.
