Lots of kids from NEFC and Select (players and parents not liking GA) as well as Bolts are looking to tryout for Blue. They will be at practices. They won’t wait for tryouts. The ones I’ve heard about are all strikers and I know of a couple midfielders. White has a phenomenal GK that should be on blue. I wonder about that. White has a couple players that will likely go but it’s harder for white players to head to blue due to politics and the SM relationship. Blue will likely pick up 3 very strong strikers and a GK is my guess possibly a CM. Parents are talking on the sidelines, to friends, and at ODP. Blue is about to have some influx of talent.

That leaves little room for Stars White field players.

Keeping deadweight on Blue seems counterproductive. So, do they have a general philosophy on how they deal with that?
Blue coaches get first pick of the players that they want to make offers to. At the older ages, Blue puts together the strongest teams possible in the hopes of doing well at national playoffs and getting as many quality college commitments as possible. White coaches are second in line for offers, then regional.

At the younger ages, you will eventually see more kids drop off of both teams. But that’s more to do with the fact that kids develop at different rates. Heading into high school, the top players both inside and outside of the club are known.

Unfortunate but not the only club that favors new players over current, even if the current are more talented

New money is like crack to DOC's. They know current players will most likely stay after they get demoted. They love that new money.

For sideline talk you seem awfully well informed with specific details. You’ve been able to pick through all the parental bravado, weigh out the relative talent levels across multiple teams and platforms and deliver a specific prediction. Well done, or BS. I wonder which.

If your child is high level you know about the players on your kids age group. Our kids play on mixed teams when they play ODP, futsal, go to camps and clinics and even town. Parents talk and many are friends from being in the club scene for years. We definitely don’t need to BS. We all know.

It's when you say lots of NEFC kids are looking to tryout for Blue, that gives you away. Unless you're taking about DPL, which is more than a bit silly.

You all know. Must be true. FWIW, our friends on that team haven’t seen any new kids at practice.

Yup. The forwards and other top players on the GA team are definitely not looking to move. They all have good reasons to stay, including commute (Mendon/Northboro much more convenient for them than Lancaster) and existing flexibility/special arrangements, like being dual rostered on a boys ECNL team.

Any more new roster decisions hashed out by the ODP dads this afternoon?

this is just a stars dad trying to stir up controversy to deflect from SMs abuse of the players on white - of the 18 kids on NEFC GA 2010 i have yet to hear about any movement or has anyone left the team

Close, it’s a stars coach thinking that if he posts it , it will come true

So your theory is that a Stars dad talks about Stars Blue getting stacked, to distract people from Stars White’s dysfunction? And to do this he specifically calls out Stars White’s dysfunction with the political relationships of Stars White coach/director (SM). Not much of deflection.
