2010 girls has talent all over the state, spread out. It’s funny to me that SM thinks he’s holding on to the best. His job is to develop and then move up his best players, not hold on to them. Plus there are many more he’s got no clue of.

HIS best are not THE best. As a team, they peaked last year. Prioritized winning over developing. Paying the piper now. I hope the couple great players he has move on from him. If not to Stars Blue then to somewhere else.

agree - those top players should move to blue where they are treated humanly as young teenagers and not berated for every mistake on the pitch

He will try to leverage the power of politics. He will tell them that if they stay as a group, the group (kids and parents) will get preferential treatment. That wouldn’t happen at Blue where things are purely merit based.

How many would get offers? I’d bet there are a bunch of Blue’s bench that could get cut, but would they replace them short term with marginal upgrades from White. Or do they only make offers to difference makers who would stick long term? I remember White being good but only a couple standouts.

Regardless, it was a serious question. What has been their historical approach? Bringing kids from White that they don’t think would stick long term seems disruptive to those kids. Keeping deadweight on Blue seems counterproductive. So, do they have a general philosophy on how they deal with that?
