^yup. Hope LFC watched the top division and saw how much better those teams are. If there is a stud on that team and she wants to play beyond impact/DPL level she should be looking to leave ASAP.

Without their top 3 players, they lost, 2-0, 2-1, and 4-1. It's not like they were blown out. Would you prefer the 2011 team that won the only other u13 bracket available be placed in top bracket instead of RI Surf? Even without the 3 players, they belonged in that bracket over any of the other 8 available teams other than maybe the 2011 team that won. So, the tournament director seems to have placed the teams accordingly.

RI Surf team with its full roster easily beats the Liverpool team. The other 3 teams in the gold bracket this past weekend would of beat Liverpool as well. Take the striker off Liverpool, and that team does not score a goal all weekend against the gold division, and 3 of the teams in the other bracket of the division they played in. They are a good Impact team, but my thought is they wouldn't come close to winning a game vs the top 3 or 4 DPL teams and forget any GA or ECNL teams. Liverpool had the benefit this weekend of playing in a 4 team bracket, where the other 3 teams were below average at best. Dad, don't be fooled by all the goals you scored in the first 3 games. Here is who you played.

NEFC BC - 15th place DPL, let up 90 goals in 10 games
Bruno - NECSL team
FC Stars - Not even sure but at least their 5th team or lower in the 2010 age group

Nothing wrong with being proud of your kids team but stop pretending the team is one of the top 2010 teams around. You're not even close

But hey, you got your struggle game in the finals (vs a 2011 team) and didn't get the job done there. So, I guess you were placed appropriately for a Thanksgiving tournament where many players were missing for whatever the reason. Your squad was full though, so no excuses there.

The above is true.

For the top DPL and Impact players, find a GA or ECNL team nearby. This spring is definitely the time to try to move up. You'll get a full year to prove yourself. Don't wait until u15. Teams at that age miss the fall season because of high school and jump right into winter League play and champions league. No time to deal with unproven players trying to move up then.

Was that NEFC goalie their regular goalie? She looked 15 minimum. She could have even drove herself to that game.

Confirmed one SSS player headed to Stars. Have not heard about any others. I don't think any others are good enough for Blue. Maybe white... If you know SSS you know which player it is.
