I heard a couple blue regionals were told they were to get a white national offer.

if you have a kid in this mix, and your kid pays attention when the coach talks at the end, you know when the offers are to start coming out. It will not take until Friday.

The best thing to happen at Stars is SM no longer being director of coaching.
Finally only the best from White (and of course from Blue) will make the flagship team unlike past years when SM was involved and he was picking his favorites and it was not always based on talent.
Good riddance to that sleazy slimy snake oil salesman SM. Long live Stars. And good luck to GB. He has a full plate for next year but no better man for the job than him.

I’m interested to know who the 4 better clubs are in New England.

Well it would appear this year, the top 5 in New England are; World Class, SUSA, CFC, Stars Blue and Stars White; in that order. Come next year, add in Match Fit and Select, it’s certainly feasibly that those 2 teams could finish ahead of Blue and White.

OP stated that Blue was 5th best in NE. That’s what prompted the question. Not a Stars parent but hard to see them as 5 th best in NE after the new team is settled.

why? for both blue and white - either half the team was great and half the team sucked, Or they were all just good. More likely that they were all just pretty good. which is why they both finished middle of the pack.

You can mix and match that all you want, You won't get a great team.

Feeling bad for 2010s. Friends with the parents on both regional and national teams. The players are getting offers in dribs and drabs. The players tell one another and of course the stress is high! The regional team should have been left alone. They are a strong team and they made it to playoffs but the top players are leaving for white. The white team was also good, now they are ripping that team apart to move best players to blue. Then blue just being axed to include players from out of club and white. The feelings among the parents on all teams not good. Nobody knows what’s happening, who the teammates will be, if the rosters will have more than 18, and so on. All the players have is their text messages to one another. This should have been finalized by Tuesday but they HAD to add a tryout date. Players now reaching out to other clubs, fed up, don’t feel cared about at all. Sorry for you all. It sucks. You are all so talented and deserve better treatment.

Bringing the top players to the top teams was always the plan. Parents can feel whichever feelings they choose, but they cannot be surprised. If a player is looking now, why weren’t they looking two weeks ago. Nothing has changed. Same amount of teams, same amount of competitors for those teams. Taking an extra 4 days to try and get it right shouldn’t be what makes you doubt your place.
