    you do have a point.

I wouldn’t say any of the blue parents are arrogant. But assuming that players from a more successful team need to leave and come to a struggling team? Because you’re blue? That attitude is arrogant. basically saying you get entitlement because previous blue teams did well.

I think the top players on white need to be more concerned about what culture they’re stepping into and what coaching they’re going to get if they move to blue.

and is it really an upgrade?

You are either a parent from Stars White's current 5th place team (finished 5th last year too) preparing to finish out your season with a 3W and 3L stretch to cement your non-playoff status, or an NEFC parent of a kid who plays in a league that people laugh at regardless of whether you win or lose.

      Enjoy your moment of trolling.

Exactly, when top teams that have had talent funneled into them for several years can't win there's likely something beyond soccer that's holding them back.

        - Wrong coach / poor coaching?
        - Not the right players selected earlier years?
        - Are parents causing drama behind the scenes?

My experience is that 9 times out of 10 parents are causing all the issues in situations like this. Easy way to address is for the club to "cut out the cancer" then slowly bring on new talent when parents get the message to stop causing issues. If you just bring on new talent without addressing the problem parents the losses won't stop happening.

Found the Stars Blue cancer that needs to be cut out from the team.

This parent and one's like them are the reason the team is losing.

What experience is it that you have exactly? You’ve been a part of 10 teams with bad culture?

Yes. You're right. They should be replaced by people like yourself who come on here to stir the pot.

Do you even realize that you're saying negative things about the team (White) that Blue parents are begging the club recruits from so your team will stop losing?

                What a dumbass...

Now that we've identified Stars Blue's problem. Can we identify the reason why Stars White is still below them in the standings?

Stars White isn't trying to recruit from Blue.

Some interesting comments today. But let’s deal with what really is going on in 2010. This a a mixed bag issue that evolved over two years. So you had players on White that couldn’t stand SM a couple years ago and tried out and made Blue. A couple since then have left. SM is intense, he flies off the handle and yes he has favorites… but his coaching is pretty good in terms of strategic decisions and tough expectations of his players. Work for some not others. He has brought that team along while last year making big cuts sending players to White regional. He brought in more talent. He scouts he knows where the talent is. While SM was getting criticized last year he continues to train his team hard, make tough decisions and yep poss off some people., KM gets fired. This upset parents as it wasn’t their team who drove him out. They had temporary coach at the end of the season. Some players left and were cut. PW comes over from NEFC. There was excitement, he’s a good coach and a good guy. But his team had holes in the roster and he needed to work on some issues. He’s doing the best he can with the players he was given. He’s had his eyes open observing Blue ECRL players and practices, White games and of course players have reached out. He lost one of his goal
keepers over the winter too. He’s trying to do what he can.
Now the Stars Club has a setup in which Blue ECNL is supposed to be the top team the best team, and Blue regional the best of the regional teams. Stars Blue is the brand. People say “Blue” and they think of top team. I don’t think parents are entitled for expecting the best 5 players to leave white and head to blue when they’ve known since they learned about the ECNL and Stars teams that White is the second team. To expect that to change because the White team is having a good year does not mean White will be the new brand. It means best of the best whether from white, blue regional, or outside clubs, will be out on Blue, Stars top team. It’s an honor to make the top team. If you are moved to White, the second team it’s also a great opportunity to be seen and pulled up. I know White wants to stick together but this isn’t a social situation. The best of the best go to Blue, second best to white. Top players from white should feel honored to get the “call up” to Blue and play with the top of that roster. The bottom of white can join bottom of blue and work harder and hope they can get pulled up one day. The top of White are competitive players they don’t want to play with the weaker white, same goes for blue. Time to consolidate. You want one incredible top team with the best. You don’t want two diluted teams.

Think of this situation from the clubs perspective. If they cut from blue and try to put the cut players on white there's a good chance they'll leave the club. So while you've potentially made a better blue team you've lost money from players leaving the club.

Regarding the white parents and players there's likely a reason they've passed on playing for blue. Seeing how one of the blue parents responded earlier to me it pretty much says it all.

To diffuse the situation blue parents need to get over themselves and admit that theyre in trouble and need white's help to address.

Unfortunately this doesn't apply to coaching staff. White coaching is simply superior to Blue coaching.

Look at GB's 07s who couldn't make playoffs in a prime recruiting year.

Look at PW's performance in Phoenix.

this is a long way from JD's blue.

Stop pretending otherwise. The problem is clear.

JD doesn't bend to parent influence and doesn't play favorites. Wish he would take blue back from GB.
