Class of 2025 parent checking in to give you all a reality check. None of this will matter very soon. If you have a top tier player, by June 15th of the summer before Jr. year there are only two clubs in MA putting kids in P5 & Ivy league soccer program. Stars Blue & NEFC. Same as last year with the 2024 class and 2023 as well. Look it up for yourselves. Select, Stars White and Scorpions have 1-3 good placements every year, but that’s it.

My advice. If you have a true baller, get her onto one of those teams at all costs. Those two clubs have the reputation, college connections and willingness to help get your kid placed. The other three do not.

Here is another bit of free advice for you. By HS ages Stars Blue teams are the A teams and White is the B team. Talent gets consolidated and they pull in as many kids as possible from outside clubs, including Surf, Aztec, SSS, NEFC, CFC, etc. I think the Blue 07 team has 4 players left from the original U13 group heading into U17. Rest get bumped to White or Regional or leave the club. Of course that greatly impacts White as well because there are only so many spaces,

White is no different than any other club’s B team. The college coaches will say ok, this kid can’t even make the A team at her own club. She is player 21-40 at FC Stars.

Blue or NEFC. Not trying to sell anything, just dropping some free knowledge.

NEFC is 5th best 2010 team in state. This is a 2010 thread, nobody cares about 07 NEFC team here

They are 2010s. Both stars teams will look very different by u16. As Will NEFC, Scorpions and Select due to the shuffling of players.

Winning teams don’t matter at U16/U17. Individual players get recruited and if the team shows up at showcases then the individual players play in front of scouts. Playoffs is not the only way scouts see players. Stars, Scorpions, NEFC and SSS are all fine. But it doesn’t matter which team is better of those.

Agree, but he also has a point. It’s not just 2007s, but 06, 05, 04… The top teams do dominate in college recruiting, year after year, with very little exception. The rankings for 2010 may be whatever it may be, but players will shuffle and will look different by the time they’re ready for recruiting.

At 3-2-1, Season is likely over already. Some will end up jumping for the right opportunity.
