Been following the 2010s girls as we have a strong player but have held off on making a decision to move clubs with so much confusion of where is the best fit. We noticed a lot of club hopping with the players and teams since Covid. If you have a serious player, a good player it is a very confusing time to know if you are in the right club. Why? There is much talk about whether ECNL is a better pathway than GA. However the NEFC and SSS teams from GA look better in this age group than the ECRL and ECNL teams. Then that is the next conversation. For 2010s is a spot on an ECRL team any better than an Impact team. Again seeing 2010 SSS Impact teams beating the 2010 ECRL Stars team in the Stars tournament. And then then there is the debate between the Scorpions vs Stars if you want to stick with ECNL, Scorpions 2010 team is strong and Scorpions doesn't have 4 teams at the top of this age bracket in ECNL/ECRL. The 2010s talent are getting spread out all over the state. Oh, wait, and then there is Juve highest 2010 girls team, they are very strong. So end of the day does one go to the rankings page to find out where the top teams are or listen to the parents boasting on the sidelines? Very murky waters. Parents seem to be totally confused. And as soon as a team seems solid, either players (friends) leave or the coach leaves, or the coach takes the whole team and goes to a new club.

Are you a closer drive to Scorpions or to Stars for ECNL? That is the only question.
The league order is ECNL, ECNL-R, GA then EDP, DPL, NPL about the same.
Every year, without fail, by U14 or U15 the vast majority of the top talent has moved to ECNL.
Those are facts. Anyone who tells you otherwise is ignorant or full of Sh*t. And no, SSS & NEFC will never get into ECNL. See the very long, informative thread on the NJ board about ECNL v. GA. Porsche to Hyundai level comparison.

ECNL-R is moving towards national showcases in conjunction with the ECNL showcases. Plus, ECNL has stated that newly admitted clubs will be pulled from the ECNL-R ranks. If you are playing in one of these leagues college exposure is the end game. If NEFC GA is better than Scorpions ECNL-R in a game at any age group is utterly meaningless. Every club in GA is begging to get into ECNL. Begging. Why? Because the ECNL is pulling 900+ coaches to the showcases. At the FL Showcases their were 130-150 "unique" coaches at most of the 2006 games, and those girls are six months away from contact still.
Take a look at the quality of clubs GA added last year. 90% have no business being in a "national" league. Pure money making move.
