That really is all that matters for each player. Did coaches come and are they still interested after?

Of course but you can't predict the future. What if her offers go away or the coaches fill the sports or the money decreases. Most offers have deadlines. Then the obvious, you need to worry about injuries between now and later.

My kid committed after soph year. She just wanted it over, it can be a little overwhelming. I asked her to wait but she was satisfied. That is what matters.

Pre rule change,I think changing the rule was a great idea, gave kids more time.

She can’t get an offer until summer after Soph year. Phone calls start 6/15. Most good offers will be committed by Labor Day. Unfortunately “next year” she may still get an offer, but it will be from whats left

Agreed. And with the 5th yrs taking spots and money from recruits, opportunity could be less than wanted academically, soccer program or both.

Looking at the ECNL Twitter feed, you'd never know there was any pandemic. I know they are outside, but not a mask to be seen on anyone -- spectators, college coaches, team coaches, players....not even below their chin. The good old days go on in FL.

I don’t see many people wearing masks outdoors in Massachusetts. Where do you live that this is common practice?

Most with transmission rates and ICU occupancy lower than or comparable to Boston. Science is a process and the data is revealing these highly restrictive policies to be good Cautionary Theater but mostly ineffective

It's a wrap. It's inevitable that Omicron is coming back with some of these teams. Kids running around hotel without masks, parents even worse drinking and hanging out indoors for hours.

Yes. Duh. Anyone that has vulnerability to this virus or is going home to people with vulnerability to this virus had no business being anywhere near an event like this at this time.
