How about close friends and relatives? Stay in your own lane; 3rd jab is not worth it at this time.

Take care of jabbing those unvaxxed crashing our borders with impunity and welcomed by this clown adm. Withhold the money being given away to them until they comply. Then I and family will get our 3rd jabs. Until then, fk off. Not getting any more at this time.

You didn't have to wait long. One day later...

And the risk of myocarditis from covid infection in the same age group is actually higher than from the vaccine. So there’s that.

Exactly what my brothers family doc told my nephew this summer. He's a freshman college baseball player and while his school didn't mandate it the coach made it clear he was "strongly encouraging it" because a prior wave caused all kinds of issues on the team. The doctor explained that while heart and lung issues in his age group were still rare, it was much higher if you got Covid vs the extremely rare vaccine complication. The doctor had several young adults still experiencing lung issues long after infection. If he got Covid he'd probably be out sick longer too, plus was going to have to be tested all the time because he was unvaccinated. He got the shot and in the end was glad he did.

              1) not a scientific analysis of data, just one very sad story. Surely you know that, right?

              2) "After his first dose, George Jr. experienced complications, which he chose to keep to himself" Myocarditis is treatable if caught early and nearly all patients recover just fine.

I posted the link. totally agree that folks should be vaccinated. I also think we need to move away from polarizing directives, they only cause people to dig in. I think it's best show respect to every individual, confirm that this is a personal decision, and it is their decision. From there one can provide information. We should be transparent and share multiple reports. Yes, there was a boy in upstate NY who had complications from the vaccine (myocarditis in this case) and he died. There were also 3k more of these reported via VAERS as "serious". But we have to compare that to these other findings that show incidents of Covid-related myocarditis in 20-somethings <can you provide access to that report>. Now that you have all the information, what do you think represents the best action for you?

I think what most are frustrated by - even those who are vaccinated - is that getting the vaccine doesn't stop spread. Yes we all get that it greatly reduces serious illness and deaths which absolutely is a reason to get it. But had this vaccine been something that stopped Covid cold I think the vaccination rates would be higher. Unfortunately that isn't how these vaccines work, let alone with new mutations, and at the time the world was desperate for a way out. Now we are all trying to figure out how to manage it going forward. If they can make it a once a year booster like the flu vaccine I'm in. If we have to get 2-3 a year then participation will plummet. It's not a sustainable system

Literally anyone can report to VAERS. It shouldn't be heavily relied upon as a single source

Literally everyone knows that. The entire purpose of VAERS is to get early signals to identify areas worthy of proper research.
That doesn't mean the data is bunk. you are free to run the reports, and when you do, you have a very tough time finding entries that were not done by healthcare professionals.

Other than a couple very sad stories, nearly all patients under 30 who contract Covid recover just fine. Surely your know that, right?

so is your thought that we should be equivalently concerned about the vaccine as we are about Covid or equivalently unconcerned

It actually means it’s bunk. Just like TS anyone can post here, anyone can pose there. A lot of garbage here, what do you think is there? There are some real anti-vax automatons would would do anything to “win”. Why do I even need to write this? I guess it’s because I see so many people missing the obvious.

VAERS used to be a decent place for information but once the anti vaxers found out about it it's now garbage. TS was never a good site for information lol, just entertaining

TS is infotainment. Jerry Springer meets a volley to the face. For this I love it and it’s a part of my daily. I just hope those Juve West guys can recover their equipment so they can go to the Jeff
