If I recall both Joe and Kamala said they wouldn’t take the vaccine if Trump told them too. Not exactly providing confidence going into their administration. It was a political statement that has come back to bite. In the last year we’ve seen more positive tests, more deaths and more hospitalizations…Joe promised to make it go away. Not entirely his fault but the messaging and operationalizing has gone horribly wrong.

However, as soon as the vaccines were approved by the necessary agencies, Joe and Kamala were among the first to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated on camera. They become staunch proponents of getting vaccinated and haven't waivered from that. Trump got vaccinated in secret behind closed doors. He's rarely told his followers to get vaccinated and has gotten boos more than once doing so.

Show me those stats. I think you will find the political party of non vaxxed people are about even. Americas history of science experiments on African Americans has them, rightfully, weary.

I am a strong supporter of scientific inquiry, and the peer review process that puts science out for public scrutiny and welcomes challenges. You cannot claim to be an intellectual, an academic, nor an advocate for "science" while denouncing highly credentialed professionals or just average Joes that raise valid questions or share personal concerns.

Here's a "Study on all the other Studies" that was put out for public comment. It raises an important discussion, notably the efficacy of mask-wearing has not been validated by science. It also hasn't been invalidated

Their primary point (my opinion) is that the virus is aerosolized. Masks are very effective at limiting dispersion of droplets. Covid isn't in droplets. Covid gets out with breath (aerosols) both through and around masks.
