Then there are those of us who lost people but acknowledge they were at risk, while the rest of us are not. My father would not have wanted his grandkids to stop living their lives. We are all vaccinated, but believe that life goes on. You can join us in living or you can run from shadows.

It's time to move on and deal with it.. I am on Day 5 of Covid...it's slightly worse than a cold and less than the flu. I have been vaccinated, I quarantined my whole family for a very long time, I wasted college tuition on online learning, cancelled business and personal travel, I have worn a mask whenever I am indoors in public places, etc etc etc. I watched my kid play soccer with a mask on and watched soccer recruiting get delayed for months. I still think anti-vaccers and anti-mask people are idiots but let's stop watching the news and get back to reality. Let's stop all this nonsense.

Yuck. Tell that to my cousin's whose children will not their amazing grand parents...who were not old or sick. It my kid's teams mate who will not have her aunt...also not old.

These people could still be here if this monster had been taken seriously for the threat it is and battled as a common enemy to all of us instead of being manipulated and used for political purposes.

Covid is real, and our current policies regarding Covid are real dumb. The country's reaction was opportunistically seized for political purposes, that is not debatable.
A truly science-based review coupled with more pragmatic and courageous decision making would have resulted in a what's best for most mindset. Instead it was seized for what's best for my party

We should be playing soccer without restrictions. We should be sharing information as transparently as possible, and college kids should be on campus. Advise everyone to make informed decisions for their personal safety and that of their loved ones.

So the fact that nearly all the people in the hospitalized or dying now are the UNVACCINATED doesn't matter? Is he supposed to round them all up and force them into vaccination centers? While I wouldn't necessarily give him a gold star, the last year has gone much more smoothly than the first year under to orange turd.

And for all those complaining about the vaccine not stopping you from getting/spreading let's not forget the vaccines were developed under Trump's watch/FDA/CDC. They are keeping people from dying when people actually get them.
