And MA and other high vax states are doing better than many others when it comes to hospitalizations and deaths. However even with the high vax rate it still leaves a large absolute number of vulnerable non vaccinated people out there.

Seriously. All the compassion (and money) that is put towards drug abusers, incarcarcerated people, etc.. and this is where they choose to stop supporting human rights. Can’t fat shame someone but if they are unvaccinated they are fair game for all sorts of abuse.

Umm, some of them are actually sick and they are contagious for some period. It's not sending them to the hospital, but it still can be flu-like. Do you really want an infected pilot sitting in a tiny cockpit flying a plane when a) he is not feeling well, and b) infecting all the other co-pilots?

What percentage of vaccinated individuals who get omicron are asymptomatic?
what percentage of vaccinated individuals who get omicron have mild symptoms (ie sniffles, headache)?
what percentage of vaccinated individuals who get omicron have moderate symptoms (ie bedridden)?

none of us know the answers, yet we seem to have all reached our own conclusions about things. None of us are getting proper info, which is part of the reason why we all disagree. Why aren’t the answers to these questions available to us? Doctors are asking these questions too, including members of Bidens pre-election Covid advisory panel. (Not meant to be a political knock, but meant to show these questions are bi-partisan). It’s time we start expecting these things.
