I agree with the Stars poster who laments how in the world superb results by any measure can be twisted by btdt and his cronies into the opposite. The results are sensational, honestly, but these folks are relentless and never concede even the most obvious points. Nor do they counter with better data from their own clubs. And they refuse to answer, repeatedly, whether they are really saying no kids such play for either of the top two clubs.
One very interesting trend to highlight in the recent attack onslaught... btdt and others focus on things like the clubs shouldn't be given the credit and some of the kids join late, etc, etc. They point out (on the surface correctly) that the big-time players would have succeeded anywhere and they use this to discredit. This just happened with the RI Scorps U17 girls on another thread. But here's the thing, or one of the things: those players chose Stars or Scorps for some reason. You can't on the one hand talk about how brilliant they are academically and superior athletically and then claim that they got scammed. Why did these great players who also have the academics to go Ivy or other top academic and athletic D1s choose these clubs??? They had any choice open to them. Especially when these clubs in some instances aren't even convenient. What is tiring is btdt's insistence on not being even marginally fair. It's a shame to cast shadows and totally misrepresent a high level of success when it happens.
