The Bolts hid DF's illegal status... An interesting point here - a lot of clubs know about the age issue for particular players but they don't make an issue of it because they have their own skeletons in the closet. So, the situation is as it is due to a certain amount of collusion among the clubs.

what his status was. Nice red herring! The issue is clubs knowingly
using overage players and not being called to task.

I find it interesting that people always bring up this issue about birth certificates and such. You identify that "something is wrong" and complain, however have no solutions.
Can we agree that these players have birth certificates? I understand that many of the birth certificates were not generated in the United States, however they have legal documentation of an actual date of birth.
So what is your solution besides writing and stating how unfair it is to have "men" playing against boys?
For many of these players, IF the document is in error, do people actually think this was a conspiracy and effort that would allow the player to dominate in sports?

I have the same problem.....I am in my 50s but playing in the Over 40 league. I am taking full advantage of those younger, slower, and less experienced players......

Looks like the Northeast division's second spot may be about to be settled for the 18s as Empire is in and Seacoast is out, and this is the weekend for South Central and Oakwood to come to town. The Connecticut teams have 11 points on 8 games played so can only reach 17 points - well within reach of both local sides, who each have 4 games left. Bolts need to have had their graduation breather and snap out of their funk, while the Revs need to continue their recent form...
Standings are even tighter for the 16s, where the battle for first is on in earnest, FCGB and NER can both win it, or Oakwood could put it out of reach for either, and Seacoast can still back in to the second playoff spot.
Good luck to all the locals!

Obviously you are joking....??
Can you imagine the significance of the Globe starting to carry DAP results/activities? This would soon to be followed by non DAP club results.
That will be the end of any impact that high school might have on kids playing ball in college.
