      No it is very different. Blather is a single man trying to dictate what all women in FIFA should be doing to promote the sport. This is an individual making a decision to promote herself in a certain way. The was an individual choice to do something some people find offensive but others find appealing as opposed to a dictate by an individual for everyone to do something some of them night find offensive.

            BS, Blatter is a man expressing the opinion of many men, the same men who will buy a sports magazine portraying a naked female athlete. BECAUSE SEX SELLS! Do you seriously think the "Hubba hubba" remarks are made because of her goal scoring prowess?

            As far as Beckham's underwear commercial, how many women are going out to buy that brand of underwear because Beckham is wearing it?

                The diffence between Blatter and Morgan is that Blatter is a man trying to dictate what many women need to do. Morgan is a woman who decided what she wants to do.

                Very big difference.

                  Right, so women who oogle at Beckham probably aren't going out to buy Beckham underwear, but within that 17 year period when men buy their own, they are buying it thinking they'll look like the Becks in their tighty-whities.

                    You might be correct if Morgan thought this up on her own, but we know she didn't. No, this was the thoughts of males at SI and as a friend of mine pointed out, when you and I were kids the adolesent boys couldn't wait for the swimsuit edition. Thanks to the internet, today's boys have access to a whole lot more than hot babes in a swimsuit. SI has to compete with that fact.

Their job is to filter the promotional and endorsement opportunities that are made available to her and present her with those that are in her best interest.
