I wonder why people are upset about the Needham situation. It's high school soccer. A sectional or state championship is not going to determine whether someone gets into Harvard. It may be great to have a jacket with "state champs" on the back but in the scheme of things it really doesn't matter. People who are complaining should look at it in a way that someone thinks enough of the school system to place their child there. There may be a short term inconvenience but the long term benefit may be worth it for the child. Take it as a source of pride that kids want to attend the school system and not leave it.

There is a lot more to this. Is the coach recruiting and is it fair to able to play on a team in another town that is better than your own town. A lot of kids would love the chance to play on a good team but they play where they live and make the best of it. Sorry I see it as cheating one or another on everyones partComment
