Either way having those teams come back to Maple is good for Maple, it's good for the competition level, and it's good for the players.

Let the tests be on the field...not on this forum.

I agree, could not have said it better myself. Great post.

So...all divisions in MAPLE are pretty much set except for U12G, is this mess still going on/being discussed or decided? Is it really that much of an issue? I was under the impression that maybe it was a T-S discussion, but the league was going to handle it. It seems like this is causing an actual hold up at this point. Since it seems like the posters here may actually have some valid info, any idea of when this might be resolved?

This shouldn't even be an issue. The league should make the "call" and put these teams in the appropriate brackets.

Decisions about BLUE U12 Girls has been made, MAPLE/KI just has not posted it so TS fanatics have something to post about.

No, I don't think that's true. I think they're going to have a vote on this forum, after a discussion in which KI, LL, BB, JD, and FM participate so that everyone here gets to hear about the process.

              Tune in at 3PM, EST.

Put them in U12 Boys White and teach everyone a lesson.

What would the lesson for the U12 boys be? Really good girls teams are 12 goals better than bad boys teams?

Put them up against the Galway team in White and they will lose.

Poster has obviously not seen much high level girls soccer.

Neither Stars nor NEFC would finish at the top of the U12 Blue Boys division, but they would be competitive and wouldn't finish at the bottom. And considering that these two teams are competitive with regional level competition, and none of the boys teams at U12 have shown the same ability, at least in MAPLE, you might see the girls do better than that.

I don't think the Galway U12 Boys team would beat either the NEFC or Stars girls teams.

Put them in a boys tourney and see how they do. You people are crazy.

You clearly don't know what you are talking about as one of the best team in the region (on a national level) is the Blazers U12 boys team. They won a Maps Cup tournament in November. I am sure these girls teams are talented but I doubt they'd compete in Maple Blue mainly because of the speed and strength of the boys.

What this post says X 10. The physicality and speed gap will grow exponentially going forward. These girls are great, for girls, please keep that in mind. They are 2 years away from struggling against a club's 3rd team on the boys side.

Frankly, they may struggle against the Galway team.
