Haters - get back on the topic please. Lets focus on the 2012 class and stop trying to bash previous classes accomplishments!

The point is that there are many on this forum that take these lists as gospel. The reality is that you're relying on second or third hand information about people whom you know nothing about. You don't know whether they were actually recruited, you don't know a thing about their reasons for choosing a particular school, you don't lnow a thing about the team situation they are in, yet you're willing to pass judgement on their choices and their statistics.

There were a half dozen MPS players listed on their web site as committed to schools that never appeared on the rosters of those schools. There are also now, 2 years in,kids who have dropped off certain rosters. The reasons could be many, whether that's a time, academic, or transfer issue.

Playing a 4-5-1 and UMASS didn't score goals. If PA is as potent a scorer in college as he was in HS, then it'll be a good fit.

2012 compared to 2011....
1) More impressive so far overall
2) Big showing from the ISL/prep crowd
3) Very heavy on Ivy/high end academic D1s and NESCAC/elite D3s
These lists tend to highlight the DAP and ISL/prep kids, so no surprise that these are the commits we are hearing about.
Big haul this year for Wesleyan, as Bolts site indicates AR from Rox Latin (2011) committing there in addition to those already listed.
