I decided to check this list as Sophomore year is when you see a lot of players leaving the team. Of the 28, 8 are not rostered and with 2 others the team does not have its 2013 list up. Not surprising to see many that played little not come back. The shocking one is CR of BU, an all conference freshman player. I believe he is an excellent student, so I don't think that is it. What happened? -

Interesting fact....of the 34 D3 players listed...18 are no longer on the rosters. Note: The player list was updated just after HS graduation in 2012. There could be many reasons players are no longer on the original school roster.

Stats are similar to something else that is often quoted which is by junior year 35% of all athletes are not playing their sport. Half by senior year is not surprising - coaches are making room for younger players, seniors are more focused on their next phase, etc.Comment
