I don't understand why anyone on here says U10 doesn't matter. It certainly matters to those players on the field and their parents and family on the sideline. Every age group matters!!

The arguement is if the score of the game matters.
U10 is VERY important...the way the kids play, what they learn, how they improve....
Just not the score of the game.
Understand now?

You are absolutely correct. You don't understand.
One, it's U10. So it means absolutely nothing in trying to make predictions for the spring of 2012, let alone 2-3 years down the road.
Two, the actual score of the game has absolutely zero meaning. Zero. None.
Do the kids get excited when they score and win, absolutely. Do the parents want to see their son/daughter play well and have fun? Absolutely!
Do the coaches/trainer want to see some of the players work on some of the technical skills that they have taught them and worked on over the past weeks? Absolutely!
Is this thread an embarassment to MA soccer? Absolutely!

On the girl's side u10 the Bolts beat Western United 5-1. So the Bolts must have some program development going on, where would they have recruited these girls from?

recruitment has been part of every club with success. Some clubs are harsher than others in doing so. Are you going to tell me that Western United and the Piorneers haven't had battles. If you look back to most of the State Cup champs I would guess that their top players came via recruitment and were not developed at that club since U9.
As for Western Mass teams and players, the area has a rich history of success with soccer at the club level and high school level.....also a pro team. Why anyone would be surprised that a Western Mass team could be an Eastern Mass team is beyond reason.
As for this one game, it is 'in the books' so to speak and all should move on and figure out how to develop their current roster so as to avoid another major blowout.

How convenient
So for the U10 boys it was a butt kicking and WU rules but for U10 girls it's either a WU split or misplaced team? How convenient JA.
