There will be a little shake up in the Globe Standings this week. The "Bulldogs" have fallen.
The best player in Brockton does not go to Brockton High.

If healthy, both teams should do well next week.
Canton plays the ball around really well and has lots of attacking weapons.
Franklin has a great keeper, vital in tournament play.

Regarding Div 1 North: Anyone have an educated guess as to how many have qualified? I count 18 with some questions about status of some others like Madison Park, Everett, Billerica. Woburn lost to Winchester today so I believe they are out.

Normally I would be all over the tournament qualifiers and seeds, but it is extremely hard to get a great handle this year because of the number of unreported (or unplayed) games. I'm pretty confident that Peabody will be the number 1 seed in D1 North followed by L/S and then Lexington. Stoneham should be the #1 seed in D2 followed at #2 by Newburyport but then it is a complete hodgepodge with lots of teams in the 21-24 point range. That includes Fenwick, Belmont, Gloucester, Wilmington, Danvers, Saugus, Arlington and Swampscott. The difference between 3-9 may be as little as .075 in respect to WP%
Too close to speculate, so we will just have to wait for the release of the brackets.
