Westford Academy is pretty strong, but definitely beatable. CC doesn't have much. LS is proving to be strong. They are certainly on a role. About half way through the season, but there is a lot of soccer left. I don't think you can count AB out yet. A couple of more weeks then we'll know for sure.

Despite the return of three players, AB is still struggling but you can't write them off permanently. The whole team (starters and bench) is weaker than it was 2-4 years ago and other DCL teams have gotten better. It's all cyclic and as long as they continue to have good clubs feeding them, AB will come back - especially as their freshmen mature. Their defense is very good but will be hit by graduation so next year might not be the year.

Polls/rankings mean absolutely nothing in HS soccer. The "best" teams quite often will lose to "inferior" teams. Nature of the game. Stats can be overwhelming for one side, yet the other side wins on a lucky goal or whatever. I can only think of one instance on the girls side where the favorite actually won-that was A-B a few years ago and they were stacked! Your "top 5's" mean absolutely nothing.

North Andover beat Westford 2-0, but lost to Danvers 0-2. Every division is up for grabs in the north.

I'm guessing that the stuff on Boston.com isn't correct because they have LS only playing 11 games with AB playing 18 games. Does every high school team play teams in their own division twice, plus a couple of out of league games or is it up to the high school?
