Governor's missed a game with Winsor and appears to not be making it up. Does that work for or against them? I believe that Winsor is in B division although not an ISL team.

You may have a kid there, but it has been known since the start of the season that WA declared for Class A in girls soccer.

I do not believe they have turf fields at Pomfret, as their website says nothing about building them and all photos are of grass fields.

Additionally the NEPSAC website has no information about any Fall 2011 tourments at all, so I would find it hard to believe that decision has been made yet. The meeting for seedings in a week from yesterday. I would be shocked if the finals are anywhere without 2 turf fields.

Yes they do they turf fields. New as of last spring. Beautiful ones, two or three maybe, in a gorgeous location. I've seen them. You won't disappointed!

Rivers, Lawrence and Groton (stepped up from C last year) are ahead of them. At 7-6-1 Governors is not a lock but should make it with a decent showing this week. All the ISL schools have pretty similar strength of schedule with some exceptions on the non-league games.

Lawrence beat Govs and tied Nobles. That strengthens LA's case.

Exactly and they have a better overall record - with 8 wins and 5 losses vs 7 and 6 respectively for Governors.
Selection and seedings take into account TOTAL record, not just ISL standings and results.

They should get the win, but I think they can only get to 13 points total 2-5-4 in the league at the moment. May just be too little too late unfortunately for them.

that's too bad it seems like they are playing really well at the end of the season. Would have been interesting if they had their MF the whole year

They have done well,but other teams have had their injury issues through different parts of the season as well which could have made differences in many games for many teams. Injury is part of how a whole team handle the season.
