Maybe not quite up to the level of the best club teams in Mass, but pretty darn good just the same. And on a team like this the benefits of playing with older/younger players is a fantastic opportunity for players that they won't get in club. Add in that these kids play 6 days a week without the outrageous schedules that some high schools play (and some clubs teams too). it was a very good experience. At one time club coaches complained they had to undo the bad habits their players picked up playing HS soccer. That was not the case for my kid. In fact I think my kid was better for having played HS and happier too. Made some good close friends on the team from each of the classes represented on the team who continue to support one another's sports participation even after graduation.
How often do you see that in club? Usually what you get is jealousy of where players went to college and who is or is not getting played.

I think they all need a timeout . It's getting crazy over there again . SSS is the spotlight now , not the Stars.Even BTDT came out of hibernation to comment!!!

It is without a doubt the craziest bunch that has gone through club soccer and my daughter is right in the thick of this group . I don't think anything will stop it.

You might want to avoid the "injured player" thread.

Phew....I've decided to avoid all games west of 128 for the rest of the fall.

                  Todays ISL matches

                  Milton at Middlesex 2-1
                  Brooks at Groton 1-3
                  Thayer at WA 0-3
                  St. Mark's at Lawrence 1-0
                  Governor's at Rivers 2-1
                  St. Paul's at Exeter 0-4
                  St. George's at Nobles 1-4

SM LA tight game, as SM exits the basement and joins the muddled middle of the ISL. field conditions may play into all games depending on who gets a downpour and who stays relatively dry.

Just try to focus on the ISL. It's less painful that way.
