Best Coach comment was based on his Resume. Dallas Texans DOC, Western United DOC, something like 3-4 NCAA Championship rings, 2 as a player and 2 as a coach?

Please advise as to what other coaches in the ISL compare? I also said "may be" as a qualifier. This will be his first year with a team that he has some input with recruiting, etc.
Proof will be in the pudding after the next couple of years.
You might want to learn a little more about the reputation of the Dallas Texans. Yes they win a lot. No, not many of their players make NTs any more. Ask yourself why. The answer is winning has taken a precedence over development.

The correct answer is; Winning is the product of superior development!

And I would also guess more of their players, Men and Women, make the NT's then any players from MA.

        So what happened last weekend?

Nobles lost to Pomfret in their scrimmage. Game was more even than last year's match, but overall Nobles had more good chances. Only scorer was a Pomfret PK.

How did the other schools do on Saturday? What's on today's docket.

Well, apparently it's not happening at the Dallas Texans any more. There are 4 N.Tx players in the pool for u14 and u15 boys and girls and none, repeat none, play for the Texans.

See what happens when a club loses their DOC? St Mark's must be very fortunate.

Perhaps that is why he's gone, assuming the U14s and U15s have been when the club 5 or 6 years.

Apparently the sophomore has returned to public school and is not attending St Mark's.

Do you really think the Texans are hurting because they missed placing anyone on the NT @ 14 & 15 for one season ? LOL

Look @ how many national championships, Professional & college placements, National team players, etc...that one club has. They probably have more then all of the clubs in region 1 combined.

Winning is a byproduct of superior training & development.

                        Can anyone validate this statement?

What I've said right along is that the Texans know how to win, they don't know how to develop. You do understand the difference, right? No, I guess not. Maybe if you actually watch Texan teams play you might.

Here's the real issue with St. Mark's and their ability to attract students athletes.

                            Tuition
For 2011-2012, tuition is set at $46,900 for boarding students and $37,450 for day students

                            Academic schedule
St. Mark's operates on a two-semester calendar year with exams in January and June. A minimum load of five courses is required; it is highly unusual for a student to carry six courses. Classes meet six days a week, including half-days on Wednesday and Saturdays. A full day is divided into seven, 45-minute periods.

That does not sound out of the ordinary for boarding schools.
