They have lost one game this year. They are 13-1-1 thats a pretty damn good record.

Not affiliated with either school. Went to the game was very entertaining and action packed. Each team hit the post Wachusett twice Algonquin once. Each keeper made big saves Wachuset 3 or 4 ( one a PK save ) Algonquin 2 or 3. Wachusett #11 (African American kid) dominated Algonquins defense hit post, many crosses, drew a PK ( should of got another PK and Gonk a red card ), had two balls cleared off the line after beating the keeper. Nice player heard a parent say he plays for NEfC top team. # 8 Algonquin player played terrific in first half caused many problems for Wachusett but disappeared in second half. any ways game could of went either way. First time seeing Wachusett play second seeing the Gonk. Got my $5 worth for sure. No one team dominated the other

I know he's a club coach, and KM isn't (though he does rely a lot on MPS to filter in players), so how'd he manage such a shocking win? Not trashtalking, really want to know. Gonk's got a great set of senior players.

As to the ctrbacks being out - are we talking suspensions? I know one of the boys had a suspension last year. Hope the kids aren't messing up in their final season of Gonk soccer.

When physical play is going on, who's going to win out? The 200lb senior, or the 120lb freshman. Not saying it's right, just that this is what goes on in HS soccer.Totally different experience to club.
