Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThat was another team whining. Ie, if Gonk doesn't totally crush an opponent, perhaps they're slipping. Seems to me that perhaps they're playing their bench and backing off to avoid injuries. They need to be in one piece for post season. You only need one goal for a win, remember?
Algonquin 3, North Middlesex 2 (and down 2-1 with 10 mins to play)
Algonquin 2, North 1
Somebody will beat them. I don't think they're as potent as with JS from last year finishing for them.
Thay are clearly the cream of the crop (along with Groton Dunstable but we'll never know...)
They're all good kids. It's fun to watch. The players of 15 years ago couldn't even be on the same field with some of these teams.

Some interesting scores yesterday in D1
Westboro 1 Nashoba 0 - Westboro first win. A set back for Nashoba ? Nashoba seems to be hot and cold this season
Marlboro 1 Hudson 1 - A bit schocked as I felt Marlboro would be the better team. Hudson making a push for a district spot
Algonquin 2 Leominster 0 - Gonk had beaten leominster 8-0 2 weeks ago. Only 2 first half goals. Getting over confident?
North 2 ST Johns 1 - North had beaten them 6-0 2 weeks ago. Another top team getting over confident ?
Wachusett 3 Milford 0 - what cool aid has Wachusett been drinking lately seem to be on a roll beating a few good team in last weeek
N. Middlesex 1 Shrewsbury 0 - is shrewsburys youth catching up with them, Had played Gonk to a 1-1 half time score last game. NM coming off a 6-0 defeat to Wachusett
Burncoat 3 Doherty 0 first win for Burncoat Doherty district chanes take a blow with the loss
