They have the best athletes but they definitely don't have the best soccer players. They wont ever look for the pass on one and two touch because they arent skilled enough and they wont win the league with a questionable goalie. Simple enough

They sure did a pretty admirable job passing 1-2 touch vs Gonk in the loss in the midfield. Actually controlled midfield play. All three central Mids play D1 club soccer ( blazers, FC united and NEFC I believe ) Goalie I've heard has been changed. I've only seen them play vs Gonk, as I want to see all the fuss about north this year, but beating Nipmuc 4-1 ain't to either as they return numerous players from last years team. Gonk also plays Nipmuc this year. I'm subjective as i have ZERO ties to either school.

Yeah, the OP is being a little ridiculous. St. John's can only play the players it has. Right now it may just not have a bunch of DAP/Div 1 club players. Next year, maybe it will. Either way, you can't blame the coach for everything.

It's not a stretch to say PO, center mid of North may well be the best player in CMass. I don't have any ties to either team either. He changes every game he's in. Gotta love the West African North connection.

Fist my pussy who the flying f*** is PO center mid from Worcester North. Are the North players even intelligent enough to play assigned positions? No player from Worcester North will ever be or ever come close to being the best player in CMASS. North have no positional sense and run around like a bunch of headless chickens, sweet their players may be fast and quite athletic but as far as Im concerned a little pace doesnt put the ball in the back of the net. Come back when North wins ONE cmass title and tell me there center mid might be the best player around, oh wait North will never win cmass i forgot.

I agree the teams to beat are North, which I also said when this post started, and Algonquin in D1. North however will lose or tie a game or two in own league to either Burncoat or Doherty. Worcester South wont be a factor for North in league as they are only a one man team with THE BEST OVERALL PLAYER IN CENTRAL MA in DB aka nana. Sleepers in D1 may be Nashoba and Marlboro.

North has had some of CMass best players before. GL was one of three All NE players several years ago and he now plays at D2 St Anselms. For all the talented Algonquin players that has passed through in the past 3 years, very few are actually playing college soccer.

No disrespect to North whatsoever they have some great players and have had great players in the past but your post about few Algonquin players playing college soccer isn't quite right. They have one from last years senior class, two from the senior class before that, and several more in prior years. Already this year they have one D1 commit and out of there 15 or so seniors at least three more will probably play D3.

Yes, I wish Algonquin nothing but the best this year. Next year they will have a relatively small and weak senior component to the v roster, soccer- and leadership wise, so let's hope they can bring the State Championship back to N'boro/S'boro this year!

That's my point. If they have 3 colleges players over the past 2 years worth of teams, that is pretty light considering they were the top CMass team. Teams like CM, St Johns, GD, Marlboro, and Douglas have done as well or better.

The poster who spewed this incredibly bizarre rant is obviously English, from the way he says "North have no positional sense" (they pluralize verbs in situations like that). I'm really happy he wasn't an American. Anyone know who an English Algonquin fan might be who would spew that kind of crap?
