You can get injured mowing the lawn. This is a ridiculous argument. There are countless examples of small players in HS, College and Pro, who make bigger players look foolish. DF was a pefect example of that. Plyed up his entire ametuer career against players much more physically developed than he was, and they could not get near him. There are also many Freshman HS players who are holding there own, both this year and in years past. This size argument is nothing more than a uneducated hang up with the sport.

If you want size, feed your kid Big Macs and let him dress up for the HS Football team.

Football hater, much? DF got beaten plenty of times (have watched him against Gonk a couple of years ago when he was a freshman). Gonk won. Anyone could tell you DF didn't like to be beaten though, and had no problem causing injuries to players on the ground when the ref wasn't watching. All well known by his opponents at the time & they had plenty of fun baiting him.

Sorry, should have mentioned it was the older hs players who got a kick out of getting the best of DF. Because he was little, and because they could. Not saying that would be the case now, but it was then.

DF Hater, much? Not sure what your point is. So gonk won a game when they played against him? Is that the extent of your argument.?

St. John's doesn't put it's freshmen & sophs on varsity, and as far as I know, KM at Algonquin confines his freshmen/sophs to MPS kids (including his own freshman son!!!), which doesn't really say much about their ability, just that he has a bias toward kids with rich parents who can afford to pay a lot to play for club.

I did think SJ had a good jv team last year, don't know how many seniors they lost, and this is the last year for a while where Algonquin has a large group of seniors playing together. All I really hope is that the games are somewhat competitive. The HS soccer I witnessed last year was really not very inspired.
St Johns' had 2 sophmores last year seeing quality time and a couple more this year. Their Jv teams was fine, but many schools' jv programs are terrible, so it's a tough call.

No he did not - last year was his freshman year. He has played against kids from Northboro in the Nashoba League for Leominster but he never played HS.

Sorry, you're wrong. He was a freshman last time he played. Sophomore when he didn't.

You are just blatantly wrong. DF never ever played high school soccer. I know him personally and he never played. Get your facts straight bro
