Dirty play or just a tough break #67

If we are to believe the signature, both posts were made by the same guy!

He reminds me so much of a hs sophmore I teach. The kid routinely talks down to his peers. He is convinced he is the smartest one on the planet. Every once in a while, of course, someone pokes a hole in one of his pronouncements and lets him have it. Then he gets all defensive and insulting while simultaneously demanding protection from the faculty. I hate that.

Just grow up, Cujo. When you constantly insult people on here, you are going to get plenty in return.

And I will be happy to jump on the bandwagon.
It's fun to insult the insulter.
Isn't that why Al Gore invented the internet? LMAO!
Never said I was the smartest person in the room. That being said I sure as hell am not the dumbest. I am not going to apologize because I am a confident and competent person. I give 100% to whatever I do whether it is as a player, a coach, an official, my day job or if I am playing with my band. I enjoy life and I am passionate about what I do. Am I arrogant? Yes. But at the same time I also have perspective. I fully realize that if I get run over by a bus tomorrow the world will carry on essentially unchanged. But then again then that has never been the point of enjoying life one's chosen path has it? If you got to know me as a person you would understand. As my wife said to me last night - "my god you are a royal pain in the ass but I do love you............"...........

Helmets do not prevent concussions. They help prevent head injuries. That is an entirely different discussion.

and when the head hits something, it suddenly stops and the brain presses against the inside of the skull.

i vote for wide brimmed straw hats and no heading!

I couldnt be bothered to read all the vitriolic garbage. But the concussion clinic at Childrens Hospital Sports Medicine program says that headgear does not prevent concussion. We were there last week.....

And seat belts don't prevent all injuries either but do help. So, why wait until your kids gets a concussion. Read people read, do your own research.
