Bayside FC Bolts U13 Boys Maple Division 1 Champs

The Bayside FC Bolts U13 Boys coached by J.C. won Division 1 Maple and are also the first team from Rhode Island at least since 2004 (checking if it goes back farther) to win Division 1. Way to go!

you obviously don't get out much! Those kids are amazing to watch. Their coach has taught them to play SMART and with a finess that makes all the other teams look like they are playing a backyard game of kickball. Great job, well deserved.

Maybe it is because all these threads on this site are about NEFC, Stars, Scorpions, Bolts and Blazers. Nice to see something new and positive on here.

Congrats to them too! The U12 Boys as well are a team to be reckoned with!

Let's just say there are as just as many "scholarships" on this team than a typical NEFC top team.

Im a MA guy and for years we have always said RI cant play with MA teams. And they haven't until this falls MAPLE season. Give Bayside its respect they earned it. Congratz and best of luck in the spring!

On a side note if MA wasn't over run with 50 premier clubs this would never happen we only have ourselves to blame

You obviously know very little then.

Totally disagree. Mass parents are lucky that they have so many choices for premier clubs. The top players gravitate to same nucleus of top clubs naturally.

                        Congrats to Bayside!

This coach is a tremendous player and person. He gives back to the community at every chance. The program he helped found known as "Project Goal" is one of the most innovative of it's kind. We've been supporting project goal for years and have always been blown away by what they do for kids.

They'll be gone within 2 years. Top players will have moved to bigger/better clubs. And what's left won't be able to hang with the big dogs.

You obviously know nothing of this team and its loyalty and commitment. I just don't get it, why can't people just be happy for someone else. Way to go Bayside!
